Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Management

Working in close partnership with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Management, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has managed the environmental support schemes of the Federal Government since 1993. The range of KPC's activities was extended to include the management of the Austrian JI/CDM purchasing programme in 2003 and the klima:akitiv.mobil programme for climate-friendly mobility in 2007. Together with the Environment Ministry, KPC launched Transparenzdatenbank in June 2007. This website shows all support payments made under the Austrian Environmental Support Act during the past two years.

Altstoff Recycling Austria AG
Since 2005, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has successfully managed the waste avoidance initiative on behalf of Altstoff Recycling Austria Aktiengesellschaft (ARA), the Municipality of Vienna, the Province of Lower Austria and the Federal Economic Chamber. Support is granted, above all, for projects of small and medium-sized business aimed at reducing the volume of non-hazardous waste.

Austrian Development Agency
For many years, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has supported Austrian development cooperation and its projects and programmes implemented by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). KPC's main activities in this area include project identification, monitoring as well as strategy and programme development for the water sector in South-Eastern Europe.

Austrian Provinces of Lower Austria and Salzburg
Besides managing environmental support schemes at the federal level, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has also drafted expert opinions and funding proposals for biomass and biogas projects on behalf of the Provinces of Lower Austria and Salzburg since 2003.

Climate and Energy Fund
The Climate and Energy Fund (KLI.EN), established by the Austrian Government in 2007, helps to create a sustainable energy supply system by increasing energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable sources of energy. Kommunalkredit Public Consulting supports the KLI.EN management in its funding and contracting operations, thus contributing towards a more efficient use of KLI.EN funds.

EBRD
The EBRD is an international financial institution that supports projects in 29 countries from Central Europe to Central Asia. The bank mainly invests in private and public sector projects, whose needs cannot be fully met by the market, and thus promotes entrepreneurship and fosters transition towards open and democratic market economies.

European Union

The European Union is the world's biggest aid donor. The Commission's EuropeAid co-operation office manages EU external aid programmes and ensures that development assistance is delivered worldwide. The Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) and the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) are relevant funding sources for Technical Assistance contracts.

KfW Development Bank

KfW Development Bank implements the Financial Cooperation Programme of the German Government, which is the main instrument of the bilateral development cooperation. The Financial Cooperation aims at reducing poverty, organise the globalisation in a sustainable way, protect the natural resources and ensure peace.

OeMAG Abwicklungsstelle für Ökostrom AG
Under the Eco-Electricity Act, small hydro power plants (with an installed capacity of less than 10MW) and medium-sized hydro power plants (10 - 20MW installed capacity) qualify for investment support to be paid out via the OeMAG Abwicklungsstelle für Ökostrom AG (OeMAG). Kommunalkredit Public Consulting supports OeMAG through the technical evaluation of the hydro power plants applying for support.
